Job summary

Westaff is seeking Assemblers/Inspectors in Lowell, MA to manually inspect, assemble and pack plastic parts. You will perform assembly tasks, visual checks for quality, and rework as needed while maintaining a clean work area.

The role emphasizes good dexterity, precise counting, color vision, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Education High School or GED.
• Good manual dexterity for small product handling.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to count and measure basics.
• Flexibility to work across assembly areas.
• Color vision required.

Responsibilities

• Manually inspect completed plastic parts and pack.
• Perform assembly tasks as directed.
• Visual inspection for discoloration, delamination, and decontamination.
• Sort and rework as needed.
• Clean parts and maintain work area.
• Transfer small parts from catch bins.
• Count and place in shipping containers.
• Take written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrate good dexterity with small parts.
• Display strong attention to detail and numbering accuracy.

Schedule of the Assemblers / Inspectors:

Monday - Friday

8am - 4pm

$18

Responsibilities of the Assemblers:

• Manually inspect completed plastic parts and pack.
• Perform assembly
• Visual inspection for discoloration , delaminaction, decontamination
• Sort and rework
• Clean parts
• Transfer small parts from catch bins
• Count and place in shipping containers
• Maintain clean work area
• Take written and verbal instruction.
• Good manual dexterity for small product handling
• Strong detail skills
• Good with numbers for counting and basic measurements
• Flexible and ability to work in many areas of assembly operation
• Must be able to see color and good color perception
• Basic hand tool clipper or trimmer.

Qualitifications:

• Lift up to 35 lbs
• Work well with others
• Small team environment .
• Good attendance
• Abilty to sit or stand
• Previous work experience performing similar preferred but not required
• Education High School or GED
