Job summary

Metals USA in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Inspector Trainee for 1st shift to support inventory storage, material handling and quality checks. You will move items, tag materials, and assist in loading/unloading with cranes and forklifts.

Requirements include passing a pre-employment drug screen, basic arithmetic and measurement skills, and the ability to read blueprints. PPE such as steel-toed boots and hard hats are required; day and night shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement reading required.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings/blueprints.
• Industrial warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and places items into stock locations.
• Tags materials for proper identification.
• Pulls and assembles customer orders for delivery.
• Operates yard truck to load/unload trailers.
• Operates cranes to load/unload trailers.
• Operates forklift to move trailers.
• Documents production and quality paperwork per shop procedures.
• Maintains clean, safe work areas and reports issues.
