Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Surface Technologies is seeking a Quality Inspector in Grand Prairie, TX to perform inspections, tests, and sampling for manufactured aerospace components. You will collaborate with quality and production teams to uphold standards and document verification results.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in quality inspection, and the ability to read drawings and blueprints. First shift hours with potential OT are noted.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and understand drawings and blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans, and specifications.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Inspection.
• Must have strong work ethic and good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, checks, testing and sampling for product manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
• Inspect incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure standards are met.
• Perform final inspections on outgoing components.
• Prepare product verification documentation.

Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing a variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products.

The Quality Inspector will have the opportunity to work with the quality and production teams ensuring quality-produced items. The Quality Inspector will be provided with a certain degree of creativity and latitude to solve quality concerns.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Hours : First shift (6am-2:30pm). OT usually available.

Salary $17-$19/hour

Your Challenge

• Performs a variety of inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes using various measuring tools.
• Conducting manufacturing inspections and sampling and testing of incoming aerospace components and raw materials to ensure that company standards are met.
• Conducting final inspections on outgoing components.
• Prepares product verification documentation.
• Using part-marking equipment on incoming aerospace components.
• Perform component dimensional inspections per customer requirements.

What You Bring

• High School or Equivalent required.
• Technical/Trade School preferred.
• 1-3 years’ experience of Quality Inspection.
• Strong work ethic and good attitude.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints, parts lists, inspection plans, and specification instructions.
