Job summary

The LiRo Group is seeking a Construction Inspector for projects in Saranac Lake, NY. You will monitor and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple contracts, ensure compliance with contract documents, and document progress with quality inspections and meetings.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of multi-phase building/rehabilitation experience and at least 2 years as an inspector on multi-contract projects, with OSHA 30 certification and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience shall be as an Inspector on multi-contract projects.
• OSHA 30 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/coordinate daily construction activities amongst multiple contracts.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents and approved construction management plans.
• Document work progress, including all required quality control inspections and meetings.
• Assist the Engineer-In-Charge and project team with job coordination meetings; coordinate with client agency contacts daily.

Responsibilities

Construction Inspection Services required on various projects managed out of the Saranac Lake regional office. Active and future projects include working with the following clients - DOCCS, DEC, APA, and OPR.

Under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, monitor/coordinate the daily construction activities amongst multiple contracts.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract documents and approved construction management plans.
• Document work progress, including all required quality control inspections and meetings.
• Assist the Engineer-In-Charge and project team with job coordination meetings. Coordinate with client agency contacts on a daily basis.
• Comply with specific duties outlined in the construction procedures manual.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secure facility a plus.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience shall be as an Inspector on multi-contract projects.
