Job Summary

Inspect the quality of ware being produced to ensure no defects are packed.

Main Position Responsibilities:

• Make quality inspections requiring some specialized knowledge of bottle specifications.
• Check samples of the product for defects.
• Use gauges and a hand glass cutter to check dimensions for height, weight, glass thickness, and distributions.
• Perform lot sampling of finished products.
• Check automatic inspection equipment and verify it is functioning within specifications.
• Un-jam line and equipment as needed.
• Handle individual containers and full cases.
• Keep production tallies and inspection records.
