Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the plant’s quality assurance and food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and sanitation compliance.
• Oversee daily quality and equipment audits, process control verification, and finished product compliance.
• Drive CAPA processes and root-cause investigations for quality or process deviations.
• Support audit readiness and coordinate third-party, USDA/FDA, and customer audits.
• Manage supplier quality, traceability, and labeling/regulatory compliance.
• Coach, train, and lead quality team members and collaborate cross-functionally with production and plant leadership.
• Track and report quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

We're hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality, food safety, and sanitation programs, ensuring our products and facility consistently meet the highest safety and regulatory standards. This role owns quality system performance driving audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement while partnering across production, sanitation, and leadership to protect product integrity.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and manage the plant’s quality assurance and food safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, and sanitation compliance
• Oversee daily quality and equipment audits, Process Control point verification, and finished product compliance
• Drive CAPA (corrective and preventive action) processes and root-cause investigations for quality or process deviations
• Support audit readiness and lead or coordinate third-party, USDA/FDA, and customer audits
• Manage supplier quality, traceability, and labeling/regulatory compliance
• Coach, train, and lead quality team members and collaborate cross-functionally with production and plant leadership
• Track and report quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) required
• Experience in the frozen foods industry required
• Prior experience in a QA Manager or senior QA leadership role within food manufacturing
• HACCP certification required; SQF, BRC, or FSSC 22000 experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GMP, FSMA, and food safety regulatory requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical and math skills
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced plant environment

Schedule

Full-time; some flexibility to support 1st/2nd shift operations and OT/weekend coverage as needed.
