Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 of an inch.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Visually inspects finished product for conformity to production schedule and accepted quality standards.
• Packages materials according to production schedule.
• Samples and tests finished product for conformity to ISO Standards.
• Labels finished product.
• Ensures all activities conform to ISO 9002 and 14001.
• Assists the Extruder Operator in tooling changes and transitions.
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition according to 5S guidelines.
• Participates with others in team improvement projects and activities.
• Works overtime as required.
• Communicates with other personnel through walkie-talkie radio.
