SEKISUI KYDEX in Bloomsburg, PA, seeks an Inspector Packer to inspect finished materials and pack for shipment. The role reports to Production Manager-NC or Shift Supervisor-SC and involves working various shifts in the Extrusion department.

Primary duties include visual inspection, packaging per schedule, labeling, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9002 and 14001. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read gauges and documents.

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read a tape measure within 1/16 of an inch.

In this role, the Inspector Packer inspects finished materials and packs materials for shipment to the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures
• Visually inspects finished product for conformity to production schedule and accepted quality standards
• Packages materials according to production schedule
• Samples and tests finished product for conformity to ISO Standards
• Labels finished product
• Ensures all activities conform to the requirements of ISO 9002 and 14001
• Assists the Extruder Operator in such activities as tooling changes and/or transitions
• Maintains work area in neat and orderly condition according to 5S guidelines

• Regularly works near moving mechanical parts
• Occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
