Pretium Packaging is hiring a Packer for a full-time position. You will inspect and package plastic products, ensuring quality and proper labeling while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects and ensure quality.
• Package products per specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with product information and warnings.
• Monitor production line efficiency and resolve packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and help implement solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory of packaging materials and notify when supplies run low.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
