Job summary

Nosco in Bristol, PA is seeking an Inspection Operator for 2nd and 3rd shifts to operate a rewinder/inspection asset and ensure on-time, high-quality digital label production. You will document activities, troubleshoot equipment, package products, and work in an employee-owned environment with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Participation in maintenance, adherence to SOPs, and collaboration with production staff are essential to meeting run speeds and customer

Qualifications

• Must have good interpersonal skills to communicate with production staff.
• Must have a good mechanical background.
• Must have at least 1 year of lift truck/forklift operating experience.
• Physical requirements include frequent twisting, turning, lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality and document all reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems related to equipment and setup; perform testing and determine corrective actions to pass results.
• Assist in minimizing remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion.
• Perform clean-up and maintenance tasks per SOP and sustain high productivity; meet setup times and run speeds.

Job description

Nosco is looking for an Inspection Operator at our Bristol, PA facility on 2nd and 3rdshift.

As an employee owner in this position, operate a rewinder/inspection asset to perform the final step of digital label production. In this role you will produce printed roll labels to meet on time delivery, high quality expectations, and in accordance with all customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner. In this role, you will also package all products and supplies per customer required documentation.

In this role, you will…

• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality. Complete all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems as it pertains to equipment and set up. Perform testing as required and understand what corrective actions could be necessary to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes (identifying problems in a timely fashion through attributing).
• Perform clean-up/maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Perform and sustain a high rate of productivity. Meet expectations for set up time and run speeds as established by the department leads.

Success factors…

• Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to freely communicate with all production staff.
• Must have good mechanical background.
• Must have lift truck operating experience, at least one year
• Physical requirements: Twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, reaching over equipment, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended periods of standing, ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration.
• Speaking, hearing and vision are also essentials to performing job functions.
