Baker Construction is seeking an Inspector Level III to define inspection processes, certify inspectors, and represent inspections under a quality management program. The role requires a solid practical background in construction materials and techniques to establish acceptance criteria where none exist.
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or construction-related discipline with 4 years of related experience (or 8 years in lieu).
The Inspector Level III is responsible for defining inspection processes and certifying co‑workers who perform inspections. He/she is certified in specific disciplines, has a detailed understanding of applicable codes and standards, and is qualified to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The role requires a sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.
Compensation for this position is expected to range from $84,615 to $110,000 annually. Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, skills, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.
