Baker Construction in Washington, DC is seeking an Inspector Level III to define inspection processes and certify co-workers who perform inspections on major projects. You will bring deep discipline knowledge, validate adherence to codes, and represent inspection under the quality management program.
The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or construction, 4–8 years of related experience, and knowledge of construction practices and quality codes.

The Inspector Level III is responsible for defining inspection processes and certifying co‑workers who perform inspections. He/she is certified in specific disciplines and has a detailed understanding of applicable codes and/or standards. Certified by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program, the Inspector Level III shall have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology to establish techniques and assist in establishing acceptance criteria when none are otherwise available.
Compensation for this position is expected to range from $84,615 to $110,000 annually.
Actual compensation offered may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, training, skills, certifications, geographic location, market conditions, and business needs.
In addition to base compensation, eligible co‑workers may participate in company‑sponsored benefits, which may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement savings plans, and other company‑sponsored benefit programs, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.
