Baker Construction is seeking a Level I Inspector in Pennsylvania with up to 50% travel. Under supervision, you will perform and document inspections per procedures and industry standards, contributing to quality building outcomes.

You will assist with inspection plan implementations, maintain a safe work environment, and participate in training and certifications to advance your expertise. Travel and field work are integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline is required (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of construction practices (formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.).
• Ability to locate, read and interpret applicable quality codes and standards.

Summary

Under the close direction of a supervisor, the Level I Inspector is responsible for performing and documenting the results of inspections or tests that are required to be performed in accordance with documented procedures, acceptance standards, and/or industry practices as defined by contract documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction related discipline from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma and 4 years related experience.

• Ability to locate, read and interpret applicable quality codes and standards.
