Job summary

Baker Construction, the nation's leading specialty concrete contractor, invites applications for a Level I Inspector. Under close supervision, you will conduct and document inspections or tests in accordance with contract documents and industry standards, ensuring accurate records and safe, productive site work.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, science, or construction (or a High School Diploma with 4 years of related experience), knowledge of construction practices, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction discipline from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma and 4 years related experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.).
• Ability to locate, read and interpret applicable quality codes and standards.

Summary

Under the close direction of a supervisor, the Level I Inspector is responsible for performing and documenting the results of inspections or tests that are required to be performed in accordance with documented procedures, acceptance standards, and/or industry practices as defined by contract documents.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Level I Inspector will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. SALARY: $65,000-$82,000
