Job summary

AAR Corp in the United States is seeking an Inspector III to join our Triumph Accessory Services operations in Wellington, Kansas. This full-time role performs inspection of incoming materials, in-process parts, and final assemblies to verify conformance to drawings and FAR requirements.

You will maintain traceability, complete documentation, and support internal audits to ensure airworthiness and quality across the manufacturing and repair workflow.

Qualifications

• Inspects incoming materials, manufactured / repaired parts and verifies conformance to manufacturer’s specifications and maintains the traceability of the parts / materials.
• Ensures positive traceability by completing required documentation IAW internal procedures & work instructions.
• Logs incoming parts and distributes to the appropriate departments as prescribed on TAS purchase orders.
• Completes in-process inspections as required.
• Conducts internal audits and associated documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Completes inspection documentation required by contract or, internal procedures, including FAI.
• Performs Final Inspections and ensures that all return to service requirements is met before the unit is released to shipping per FAR 145.213, 145.155, 145.157 and Part 65.

Description

• Determines the conformance of product to engineering drawings and specifications and determines the airworthiness of the articles on which maintenance, preventive maintenance or alterations are being performed by using inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools.
• Inspects incoming materials, manufactured &/or repaired parts and verifies conformance to manufacturer’s specifications and maintains the traceability of the parts &/or materials.
• Ensures positive traceability by completing required documentation IAW internal procedures & work instructions.
