Job description

Overview

Engine Systems, Inc. is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector in our Rocky Mount. NC location.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties to independently perform dimensional, visual, non-destructive testing, and test inspection of diversified components, assemblies and completed systems that are fabricated, installed and shipped in compliance with Engineering approved designs.
  • Ensure quality detailed inspection is in compliance with applicable standards and technical data.
  • Record applicable data and maintain documents associated with job functions.
  • Generate, write and close nonconformance reports as required.
  • Perform internal and external inspections as needed.
  • Participate in the resolution of corrective actions and verification of actions implemented
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, blueprints, schematics and technical data.
  • Firm understanding and use of precision measuring devices and techniques needed to measure component characteristics.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Oracle experience preferred
  • Working knowledge with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Experienced with CMM equipment is a plus, but not required.
  • High school diploma required.
