The Inspector II is responsible for monitoring compliance of private placement agencies including foster care and adoption agencies, as well as providing technical assistance to facility operators. The Inspector II will conduct inspections in homes and agencies, complete licensing investigations, and prepare written reports.
Experience conducting investigations and/ or inspections. Knowledge of applicable child welfare laws and regulations.
Experience in organizing and managing data in various modes, including Excel spreadsheets, case management systems such as ELS, and reports.

The Inspector II is a dedicated professional responsible for ensuring that an organization’s operations, processes, and facilities conform to internal standards, industry regulations, and applicable safety or quality guidelines. This role is vital in identifying deficiencies, irregularities, and non-compliance issues across various areas, then recommending corrective measures that drive performance improvements and safeguard regulatory adherence. The Inspector II works closely with management and operational teams in an attempt to establish a culture of continuous quality assurance and risk mitigation, playing a key role in enhancing organizational efficiency and protecting reputations.
Strong analytical and observational skills, with acute attention to detail in identifying discrepancies and potential risks.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively preparing reports and collaborating with a variety of assorted personnel.Proficient in using modern inspection tools, data management software, and digital reporting systems.Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and adapt to shifting regulatory or operational landscapes.
High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in inspections, quality control, internal auditing, or compliance roles.
Must possess a valid Arkansas driver’s license. OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
