Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Quality Inspector for the F-35 program. This role reports to the Multi-Functional Supervisor of F-35 Quality Delivery Operations and oversees product-quality activities across aircraft finishing, acceptance, fuel, ground, and flight test facilities.

You will inspect installations per blueprints and orders, address nonconformances, work with engineering reps on deviations, and use precision tools and data analysis to ensure flight readiness.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of flightline operations experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering specifications, drawings, and data analytics.
• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Providing timely, responsive, and exceptional Quality Inspection and Analysis capabilities.
• Performs inspection on F-35 aircraft prior to flight release to determine acceptability of installations, structure, and operation of systems.
• Inspects to blueprints, engineering and customer specifications, engineering orders, technical orders, service bulletins and other source data, securing Engineering Representatives approval on deviations therefrom and on critical items not covered by source data.
• Diagnose discrepancies and determines corrective action(s) required or refers to proper personnel for disposition.

This position will report to the Multi-Functional Supervisor of F-35 Quality Delivery Operations with responsibility for F-35 Product-Quality activities to support the following build areas: Aircraft Finishing Facility, Acceptance Test Facility, Fuel Test Facility, Ground Operations, Flight Operations, DD-250 , and Ferry.

Specific Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of flightline operations experience.
• Experience analyzing and interpreting engineering specifications, drawings, and data analytics.
• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Skills

• 2+ years of aviation quality experience.
• Experience with Product-Quality methods either from the quality or manufacturing perspective.
• Fighter or bomber aircraft experience.
• Ability to effectively navigate complex product and process-related requirements to validate and reference nonconformances.
• Experience with Automated Logistics Information System (ALIS) or similar Aircraft maintenance management Systems, Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similar manufacturing system, Product Data Management (PDM) or similar engineering

Pay Information

• $35.27 - $55.70
