Job summary

NorthStar Environmental Testing, LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a motivated Environmental Project Field Inspector with construction and computer knowledge to join our team in Wauwatosa. This full-time, on-site role focuses on field testing for asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold, with hands-on fieldwork and careful documentation.

You will travel to job sites, collect samples, prepare professional reports, and communicate findings to clients while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

Qualifications

• Continued education/post High School degree required or preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CAD and Adobe is preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required for travel to field sites.

Responsibilities

• Environmental site assessments for asbestos, lead-based paint, or mold.
• Sample collection and report preparation.
• Record field observations in formal reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Travel to and work on construction sites with independent work capability.
• Manage multiple projects with varying scopes and timelines.
