Job summary

York H-G Properties LLC is seeking a Part-Time Association Property Inspector to perform scheduled inspections of condominium and homeowners associations in the Cumberland County area. You will identify maintenance concerns, document conditions, and note any potential rule violations, reporting findings to the board and sending homeowner notices as directed.

The role requires reliable transportation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across multiple communities.

Qualifications

• Ability to document findings accurately and objectively.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Comfort with smartphones/tablets for photos and data entry.
• Able to learn and apply association governing documents.
• Ability to work independently and protect confidential information.
• Experience in property management or inspections preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation to travel between communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspection dates and times with boards and management.
• Walk the property with board members or inspect independently.
• Review and apply each association\'s rules and inspection guidelines.
• Identify visible property damage and maintenance concerns.
• Document violations with photos, addresses, and notes.
• Enter findings into the property management software and start notices.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports to the board.
• Update findings and notices based on board feedback.
• Prepare homeowner letters or emails explaining issues and deadlines.
• Track open items and conduct follow-up inspections.
• Communicate professionally with boards, homeowners, residents, and staff.
• Promptly report urgent safety concerns or major damage.
