Job summary

Belvac in Lynchburg, VA is seeking an Inspector A to perform a wide range of inspection tasks in accordance with approved procedures. The role covers receipt, in-process, first article, and final inspections, plus calibration and continuous improvement activities.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with technical/college credits and experience with GD&T, SPC, and CMM tools; on-site work with strong customer service focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/college credits preferred.
• Experience with inspection processes and quality systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of GD&T and trig basics beneficial.
• Familiarity with SPC/quality data systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, in-process, first piece, final, and final inspections.
• Conduct process surveillances and first article inspections.
• Calibrate and monitor gauges; support calibration systems.
