Job summary

BPM, Inc. is seeking a skilled Inspector to perform a wide range of inspection functions in accordance with approved procedures.

Responsibilities include receipt inspection, in-process inspections, first piece, final inspections, assembly inspections, and process surveillance. The role requires knowledge of GD&T and trig, experience with CMMs (PCDMIS, Zeiss Calypso) and SPC software, plus training of inspectors and calibration of gauges.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with technical or college credits.
• Knowledge and application of Trigonometry.
• Knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing.

• Perform a wide range of inspection functions in accordance with approved procedures and/or instructions.
• Receipt inspection to include staging parts and materials.
• In Process Inspections.
• First piece inspections.
• Final inspections.
• Final Inspection and Assembly Inspection.
• Process Surveillance.
• First Article inspections.
• Training of inspectors.
• Gage Calibration and related control systems.
• Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving Activities.
• Quality System work instructions (inspection process).
• Excellent Customer Service and support.

• First Article part inspections
• Training of inspectors
• Gage Calibration and related control systems
• Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving Activities
• Quality System work instructions (inspection process)

• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Knowledge Required to Perform Job:

Inspection Skills:

• Plan and schedule process surveillance activities
