Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Garden Grove, CA is seeking an Inspector to perform in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes. You will read planning documents, calibrate tools, and document precise records of inspection.

This full-time weekend shift (Friday–Sunday 12HR, 5pm–5:30am) requires interpreting blueprints and specs, interfacing with multiple departments, initiating NCRs and contributing to the quality system's continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in inspection.
• Ability to read planning documents, blueprints and specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete records.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.
• Interface with other departments on quality issues.
• Assist operators in understanding quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggest new methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Description:

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes
