Job summary

Oerlikon Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an Inspector to enter customer order information, inspect products, and ensure quality before packaging and shipping. The role involves front-end and back-end processing decisions, cross-training, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

The inspector will perform visual and XRF-based coating thickness checks, learn new skills across departments, and uphold safety and health standards while meeting customer specifications and delivery

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior machine operator experience preferred.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of industrial cutting tools preferred, but not required.
• Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect customer product for processing.
• Inspect the finished product.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Learn new skills and cross-train into various departments.

• Learn defixturing techniques.
• Post quantities being shipped into the computer system.

• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribes safety regulations.
• Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
• Perform Pre and Post treatment operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.

We are looking for anInspectorfor our Oklahoma Cityfacility. In this role, the inspector will enter customer order information into computer system, inspect and rack customer products. The Inspector will work in a self-directed capacity in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a variety of customers to understand their ongoing product needs and translate those needs into workable specifications for teammates to follow. In performing his/her daily tasks, the individual will draw upon training and experience to make important front-end and back-end processing decisions. As part of his/her primary responsibilities, this individual will also ensure that once the customers’ products have been processed they are inspected for quality, re-packaged, and shipped accurately.

Your Responsibilities:

Your Profile:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Knowledge of industrial cutting tools (e.g.; drills, etc.) preferred, but not required
• Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detailed-oriented

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 44 lbs.
• Frequent handling of materials or products.
