Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines, seeks an onsite inspector for 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 10pm-6am) at our Middletown, PA site. You will visually inspect products, segregate nonconforming material, and perform Op Cert surveillance audits with Solumina and precision measuring tools.

Candidates must have a HS Diploma or GED and US citizenship. Role involves interpreting print tolerances (GD&T) and adhering to EH&S guidelines while completing training to certify inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform OpCert over-inspects, as required.
• Detailed inspection cert is required at the conclusion of training.
• Adhere to EH&S guidelines and wear PPE.
• Interpret print tolerances including some GD&T; proficient with Op Cert functions and precision measuring equipment.
• Meet vision requirements of NAS410 or internal equivalent.

This is a 3rd shift opportunity: Monday to Friday (10pm-6am)

• May require occasional weekend work to support production schedule.
• Perform OpCert over-inspects, as required.
• Detailed inspection cert is required at the conclusion of training.
• Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
• Basic understanding of print tolerances including ability to interpret some GD&T, working knowledge of Op Cert functions and proficiency using precision measuring equipment
• Meet vision requirements of NAS410 or internal equivalent

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• 1 year manufacturing inspection experience
