Pratt & Whitney in Middletown, PA, is seeking a Quality Inspector for a 3rd shift (Mon–Fri, 10pm–6am) onsite role. You will visually inspect parts, segregate nonconforming material, and perform Solumina audits for Op Cert surveillance. You should have a HS diploma or GED and U.S.

citizenship; preferring 1 year of manufacturing inspection. The position emphasizes adherence to EH&S, GD&T interpretation, and the ability to use precision measuring equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects product and segregates nonconforming material and perform Solumina required job audits for Op Cert surveillance.
• May require occasional weekend work to support production schedule.
• Perform OpCert over-inspects, as required.
• Detailed inspection cert is required at the conclusion of training.
• Adhere to all EH&S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
• Basic understanding of print tolerances including ability to interpret some GD&T, working knowledge of Op Cert functions and proficiency using precision measuring equipment
• Meet vision requirements of NAS410 or internal equivalent

This is a 3rd shift opportunity: Monday to Friday (10pm-6am)

This position is classified as Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
