Role Overview

The Inspector Associate performs inspection duties of a training nature in designated areas. Under supervision, perform inspection of assemblies and detail parts for compliance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements. Report discrepancies following procedures. Work from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures, and verbal instructions. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and electronic thickness testers. Maintain documentation and records. Follow department procedures and keep work areas clean. Refer issues to higher inspectors or supervisors.

Qualifications

• G.E.D. or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years' experience in aircraft assembly, inspection, or similar industry demonstrating measuring skills and blueprint interpretation
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Successfully complete Bombardier initial training program
