Job summary

Graphic Packaging International is seeking entry level Inspectors to join our team. Wages start at $20.21/hour with potential to rise to $22.21/hour, plus $1.50/hour night shift differential.

We offer training, advancement opportunities, and comprehensive benefits as part of the GPI Benefits Program. Responsibilities include inspecting cartons, packing, reporting non-conforming items, and assisting with daily cleaning.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a strong work ethic.
• No high school diploma/GED required.
• No experience required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect cartons and pack them into a box or bag.
• Notify the supervisor of non-conforming products.
• Move to the outfeed of the machine to prepare for start-up.
• Assist with daily cleaning and organization.
• Check for excess glue and inspect/package material.

ENTRY LEVEL INSPECTORS

Wages Start at $20.21/hr with the opportunity to go up to $22.21/hr

EXTRA $1.50/hour for NIGHT SHIFT

Inspectors/Packers:

• Starting Wages Begin At $20.21/Hour With Regular Wage Progressions Every 6 Months Up To $22.21/hr
• $1.50/Hour Shift Differential for Night Shift
• Benefits Start on the 1st of The Month Following Your Start Date

General Inspector-Packer Responsibilities:

• Arrive at the machine before shift start.
• Inspect cartons and pack them into a box or bag.
• Notify the operator/Supervisor of non-conforming products.
• One of the general inspectors should move to the outfeed of the machine when the machine goes down to prepare for start-up.
• Reclaim should be worked on by one of the general inspectors each every machine goes down (even just a couple of bags make a difference).
• Help with daily cleaning (sweeping, mopping, and organizing).
• Pick up bags from the floor and put them in the proper place.
• Check for excess glue.
• Inspect and package material
