Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking an Inspection Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will participate in setup, operation, and inspection of equipment, and maintain SAP documentation for products and supplies while ensuring safety and quality standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams and be required to pass safety training, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate in cold conditions. English proficiency is essential as is willingness to work extended hours, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• A strong math background is required.
• Must be able to learn basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Must be able to identify CCPs and maintain GMPs.

Responsabilités

• Set up, run, rotate positions, teardown, and inspection of equipment.
• Operate inspection equipment including Dumpers, X-Rays, and the production line.
• Accurately document SAP records of products and supplies (scanning, counting, quantities).
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Manage meat inventory and assess material quality.
• Communicate with Scheduler, Production Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Production Reports as needed.

Position Overview

As a Johnsonville Inspection Operator, you get the opportunity to be a part of an amazing team that is consistently manufacturing "great tasting" sausage products according to specifications. Work together with other Johnsonville members to obtain World Class results in safety, yields, usages, and efficiencies. All of this is to ensure consumers always get a great tasting/performing product for their families.

Responsibilities

• Setup, run, rotate positions, teardown, and inspection of equipment in your area including hot water washes all by following proper safety lock out tag out procedures.
• Operate inspection equipment including Dumpers, X-Rays, and the production line.
• Take ownership for daily accurate SAP documentation of products/supplies (including scanning, counting to verify materials, and document quantities).
• Complete production documentation paperwork accurately.
• Able to effectively manage meat inventory (i.e. meat age).
• Must be able to manage the quality of materials used (i.e. rejecting bad materials, etc.).
• Communicate between Scheduler, Production Coordinators, Team Leaders, and Production Reports as needed.

Experience

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Strong math background is required.
• Complete production documentation paperwork accurately.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to set up all inspection equipment independently after proper training.
• Must be able to identify Critical Control Points (CCPs) and maintain all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be willing to learn basic computer skills such as (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Must have a very keen eye for visual inspection purposes.
• Ability to learn and accurately perform all the SAP transactions associated with position.
• Willing to work in cold conditions.
• Must be able to obtain forklift license and keep safe driving record.
• Willingness to work extended hours including weekends.
• Based on business necessity, must be proficient in English.

Other Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
