The Inspection Intern will assist the inspection team with roadway improvement projects while gaining hands‑on experience in construction inspection, project documentation, and construction administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the inspection team with roadway improvement projects to ensure high-quality construction in accordance with design specifications.
• Learn to review construction drawings, plans, and specifications to support the Project Supervisor as assigned.
• Assist with preparation of daily construction reports, including personnel logs, pay items, quantities, and summaries of daily construction activities.
• Assist with documenting construction progress and maintaining accurate project records.
• Work with inspectors, contractors, engineers, and project team members to support project goals and deadlines.
• Participate in field observations and inspections as assigned.
• Work within a team environment and complete assigned tasks in a professional manner.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
