Job summary
Xylem is seeking an Inspection and Calibration Team Lead in the United States to oversee Receiving Inspection and calibration programs, driving compliance with ISO 9001/13485 and continuous improvement. This role will lead a team, prioritize workload, and serve as the escalation point for supplier quality and measurement system issues.
The position is hands-on up to 75% of the time and offers a comprehensive benefits package alongside a competitive salary of $65,000 to $75,000 with bonus
Qualifications
- 5+ years of quality assurance, receiving inspection, calibration, or manufacturing quality experience.
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working within regulated or ISO-certified environments.
- Experience managing calibration systems and measurement equipment.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily Receiving Inspection and Calibration activities to meet production and quality goals.
- Oversee incoming inspection and calibration program management, ensuring compliance with specs and records.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams to resolve quality concerns.
- Monitor metrics like turnaround times, defect rates, and supplier quality trends.
- Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives within quality processes.
