Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. is seeking an entry-level InSite Technician to support waste management tasks at customer facilities. You will help with waste pickups, bulking, packaging, labeling, and spill response while learning safety protocols.

As a starting role, you’ll receive comprehensive training, gain hands-on experience with hazardous materials, and have opportunities to advance within the company’s environmental services portfolio.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Make waste pickups throughout a customer's facility.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation.
• Package and label waste products to maximize efficiency and stay compliant.
• Participate in spill response on customer's site as needed.
• Operate forklifts and inspect drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
