Job summary

Innodata India seeks a data analyst to translate business requirements into actionable analytics. You will develop and maintain dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, write SQL queries, and ensure data quality across platforms.

You will analyse multiple data domains to deliver insights, automate recurring reporting, and support platform like Databricks or Snowflake. This role favors proactive problem solvers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements.
• Translate requirements into data analysis, KPIs, reports, dashboards, and insights.
• Analyse platform, process, service, supplier, quality, and performance data.
• Identify trends, anomalies, risks, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop dashboards with Tableau and Power BI.
• Write SQL queries to extract, transform, validate, and analyse data.
• Create reusable datasets and reporting views from sources.
• Support migration of legacy reports to standardized dashboards.
• Perform data validation and investigate data-quality issues.
• Maintain data dictionaries, metric definitions, and data lineage.
• Establish reporting schedules, ownership, and change-control practices.
• Automate recurring reporting activities where possible.
• Support Databricks, Snowflake, or equivalent data platforms as required.
• Collaborate with Technology and Data Operations to resolve issues.
• Prepare regular operational performance reports and insights.
• Support continuous-improvement through root-cause and trend analysis.
• Maintain handover documentation and transition reporting solutions into BAU.
