iO Associates is seeking an Insight Analyst to join the Intelligent Data team, delivering high-quality analytical insight for clients across commercial and not-for-profit sectors.

This hands-on role combines core insight work with opportunities to apply data science, including audits, campaign analysis, segmentation, and propensity modelling. You’ll work directly with clients, shape analytical approaches, and turn complex data into clear recommendations that drive action.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with complex joins and performance tuning.
• 2+ years Python or R experience solving client problems.
• Understanding data science techniques relevant to fundraising such as propensity modelling, lifetime value or segmentation.
• Experience managing analytical relationships for a small portfolio of client accounts.
• Ability to design analytical approaches independently without needing senior sign-off for every brief.
• Interpret analytical output and communicate actionable client recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with confidence presenting findings.
