Cape Fox Facilities Services is seeking an Insider Threat Detection Analyst to support a Federal Agency in the National Capital Region. The role involves multi-disciplinary analysis to identify insider threats and to report findings, using specialized host-based detection tools.

• Insider threat detection role in federal environment, prior security expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts multi-disciplinary analysis integrating security, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and CN D information to identify insider threats.
• Uses host-based detection tools to identify anomalous activity.
• Correlates security events, CI information, and digital forensic data.
• Builds threat profiles for ongoing assessment.
• Monitors user activity across network and system logs.
• Prepares written analytical reports.
• Supports incident response and maintains case files.
• Applies National Insider Threat Policy and Federal Investigative Standards.

• Conducts multi-disciplinary analysis integrating security, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and computer network defense information to identify, assess, and report potential insider threats
• Uses specialized host-based detection tools to identify anomalous activity
• Correlates security events, CI information, and digital forensic data
• Builds threat profiles
• Monitors user activity across network and system logs
• Prepares written analytical reports
• Supports incident response
• Maintains case files in centralized tracking systems
• Applies the National Insider Threat Policy and Federal Investigative Standards
• May be required to work shifts or outside core hours
