Job summary

DTEX is seeking an Insider Threat Analyst to join our security analytics team. You will analyze customer activity data, identify threat patterns, and deliver clear reports to clients, with recommendations to enhance defenses.

The role requires collaboration with customers, Tier 1–3 support, and the ability to communicate findings to executives. A TS/SCI preferred clearance is highly valued, with flexible hybrid/remote work options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in BI, operations, or analytics; security investigations preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and systematic approach to complex multivariate problems.
• Experience analyzing data with tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to present to executives.
• UEBA knowledge and understanding of baselines and anomaly detection.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer activity data to identify threat events, behaviors and patterns.
• Coordinate with customers to focus investigations on areas of interest.
• Prepare and deliver reports with metrics and visualizations to communicate discoveries.
• Develop recommendations to remediate threats and implement proactive measures.
• Establish trust with clients, maintaining privacy and objectivity.
• Enhance profiles and develop new use cases and algorithms for releases.
• Provide Tier 1 and 2 support; coordinate with engineering for Tier 3 support.
• Provide feedback to engineering and report bugs for service improvements.
