Job summary

The Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers in the United States is seeking an Inside Service Technician to perform tire and related services for commercial tire users in the trucking industry.

You will be responsible for proper mounting/dismounting, inflating to PSI, inspections, and service ticket submission, while upholding safety policies and quality service. Relevant experience and a high school diploma are preferred; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 months of Commercial Service Tire experience or related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Service, dismount and mount commercial tires and related components.
• Perform match mounting, dual assemblies, and check radial runout as needed.
• Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements and document service tickets.
• Identify repairable tire conditions and perform repairs or retreading as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and comply with OSHA requirements.
• Deliver Service Excellence to meet location and customer goals.
