Job summary

Reliance, Inc. is seeking a staff member to take sales inquiries via phone, fax, email, or walk-in and to price inquiries efficiently. The role ensures all customer requirements can be met or differences resolved before orders are accepted, and involves purchasing raw materials for stock and related sales orders.

You will maintain open customer communication and relay feedback to management. Additional duties include answering calls when needed, developing Work Orders, and handling

• Ensure customer requirements can be met or resolve differences before order acceptance.
• Purchase raw materials for stock and for Buy-Outs to related Sales Orders.
• Maintain open communication with customers about concerns.
• Forward customer feedback and complaints to management.
• Answer incoming calls when reception is unavailable.
• Develop and revise Work Orders as needed.
• Discipline non-conforming products and obtain concessions from customers when necessary.

Job Summary

Take sales inquiries over phone, fax, email or walk-in. Price these inquiries effectively and efficiently.

Is responsible for ensuring all customer requirements can be met or resolve differences with customers prior to accepting order.

Purchase raw material for stock and for Buy-Outs to related Sales Orders.

Maintain open communication with customers as any concerns arise.

Ensure feedback, including complaints, from customers are forwarded to management.

Answer incoming phone calls if receptionist is not available.

Authorized to and responsible for: the development of Work Orders; and revisions to Work Orders as necessary.

Authorized to and responsible for: the disposition of non conforming product; and obtaining concession from customer when necessary.

Function in the Job

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $48,000.00/Yr. - USD $55,000.00/Yr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
