Job summary

HD Fowler Company, a long‑standing waterworks distributor in Wenatchee, WA, seeks an Inside Salesperson to support external and internal customers, prepare quotes, takeoffs, and bids, and assist with product selection.

You will contribute to project timelines, support the outside sales team, and manage customer orders in a fast-paced, family‑owned environment offering competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Customer service or wholesale supply background required.
• Industry and estimating experience preferred.
• Computer and mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work overtime when required (busy season).

Responsibilities

• Courteously assist customers (in person and via telephone) by writing orders, facilitating returns, renting equipment and providing quotes.
• Assist with product selection and inquiries, problem solving, and acquiring non-stock material.
• Estimate, quote, and manage customer timelines and projects.
• Support outside sales staff in writing orders, contacting customers, managing jobs and pending orders, and/or coordinating customer receipt of product.
• Complete accurate and thorough takeoffs.
• Assist in managing bids.
• Participate in continuing education, learning about product and material applications.
