Job Description

Job Title: Inside Sales Trainee - B2B Low Voltage Distributor

Security Equipment Supply is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Inside Sales Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals interested in starting a career in sales and gaining experience in the B2B sales environment. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop essential skills.

Essential Functions
  1. Learn about our products and services, including features, applications, and benefits.
  2. Assist the sales team with prospecting and lead generation activities.
  3. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to understand the sales process.
  4. Support sales representatives in product presentations and demonstrations.
  5. Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and delivery.
  6. Collaborate on preparing sales quotations, proposals, and bids.
  7. Assist with order processing and tracking.
  8. Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs using CRM software.
  9. Shadow experienced sales reps to learn selling techniques and customer management.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
Requirements
  1. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
