Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding and window products, and to process orders with accuracy.

This role requires 1-2 years experience in roofing/siding/windows, strong communication, and reliable time management. The position offers weekly schedule Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, competitive pay of $20–$22 per hour, benefits after the introductory period, and opportunities for growth within a national wholesale distributor.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and a team player with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise
