Qualifications

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important for helping customers and teammates.
• Effective time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple orders and tasks.
• Basic computer skills to enter sales orders and access product information.
• Positive attitude and team player mindset to contribute to a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up-sell additional products and supplies.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders; accept payments and apply to accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse and follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked and address service concerns as they arise.
