Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering preferred.
• 1-3 years prior sales experience or relevant training in Inside Sales.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet.
• Strong problem-solving skills; highly organized with attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with good MVR; occasional regional travel.

• Collaborates with Sales and Purchasing departments.
• Maintains knowledge of company products and ability to size and recommend.
• Demonstrates teamwork with a flexible attitude.
• Provides timely service in order processing, quotations and customer response.
• Answers all calls promptly; maintains client database and notifies sales reps of personnel changes.
• Processes cancellations or changes to sales orders and communicates with related departments.
• Discusses credit terms, price quotes and prepares sales order reports as needed.
