OXARC in Hermiston, OR is seeking a CDL Inside Sales Specialist/Backup Driver. Bring your CDL B with hazmat endorsement and customer service experience to join a regional leader in welding supplies and industrial gases.

You will handle inside sales, support outside sales, process paperwork, assist with orders, and occasionally drive. Dayshift, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for advancement and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1 year industry experience is a plus.
• Class B CDL with Hazmat Endorsement.
• Able to lift up to 60 lb and up to 70 lb with assistance.
• Able to pass drug screen, physical and background check.
• Must be alert to surroundings and plan ahead to anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to work independently and establish priorities.

Responsibilities

• Open and close store.
• Assist with daily paperwork (cash reports), filing, preparing packets, answer invoice questions.
• Notify client when orders are ready for pick-up; return orders to stock; notify about back-orders.
• Assist with weekly freight.
• Put away empty cylinders from the dock.
• Support Outside Sales personnel.
• Night and weekend on-call as necessary.
• Commit to high performance through outstanding attendance and dependable work habits.
• Act as Backup Driver.
• Other duties as assigned.

If you have your CDL B with hazmat endorsement as well as customer service experience, OXARC wants to hear from you! Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds (with assistance or proper lifting device).

Requirements:
