Eaton Steel Bar Company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to develop new business, strengthen customer relationships, and manage sales from initial inquiry through order fulfillment. You’ll work with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, prepare accurate quotes, and keep orders moving toward on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in steel/metals or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, quotes and orders with accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and contact prospective customers to generate sales leads and develop new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned base or territory.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Communicate customer specifications to internal departments to support processing.
• Manage order entry, release, and expediting to meet customer needs.
• Monitor parts, inventory, and services for assigned accounts.
• Coordinate new customer account setup across departments.
• Review purchase orders and coordinate part setup and processing per requirements.
• Make pricing and shipment decisions within company guidelines.
• Partner with Regional Sales Manager on accommodations, exceptions, and approvals.

Inside Sales Representative – Steel & Metals

Eaton Steel Bar Company is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to develop new business, strengthen customer relationships, and manage sales from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.

We’re looking for a sales professional with a background in steel, mining, or metals, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to account management. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, prepare accurate quotes, and keep orders moving.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and contact prospective customers to generate sales leads and develop new business.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers within an assigned account base or territory.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on open opportunities, and meet or exceed established sales goals.
• Communicate customer specifications and requirements to internal departments to support accurate processing and fulfillment.
• Manage order entry, order release, and expediting to meet customer needs.
• Proactively monitor parts, inventory requirements, and services for assigned accounts.
• Manage customer budgets and provide information on pricing, available services, and new products.
• Coordinate new customer account setup across departments.
• Review purchase orders and coordinate part setup, material cutting, and processing based on customer requirements.
• Make pricing, invoice, and shipment decisions within established company guidelines.
• Partner with the Regional Sales Manager on customer accommodations, freight exceptions, and order approvals.

Compensation: Salary: $75,000–$85,000 + Quarterly Performance Bonus
