Pharmaceutical Sales, Rare Disease

Position Summary:

The Inside Sales Representative engages customers via remote channels to promote brand messaging. Responsibilities include developing relationships with targeted accounts, engaging in meaningful dialogue, and supporting HCPs with treatment forms when a patient is identified.

  1. Manage daily sales activities to profile Centers of Excellence and the patient journey from diagnosis to treatment via outbound calls or virtual engagements.
  2. Engage HCP targets in program discussions to meet territory and company goals post-launch.
  3. Profile and manage targeted HCP lists.
  4. Create and execute business plans to achieve goals.
  5. Support targeted HCPs in treatment decision-making and form submissions to the HUB.
  6. Communicate persuasively using effective selling, listening, and negotiation skills with proper terminology and messaging.
  7. Maintain knowledge of disease states and programs.
  8. Follow approved protocols for pre/post-launch activities.
  9. Accurately enter data into CRM systems, including target responses and follow-up actions.
  10. Respond appropriately to customer needs and questions.
  11. Coordinate with Sales Leaders, team members, and Consultants on project progress.
  12. Maintain a positive impression with clients and customers.
  13. Prepare management reports as needed.
  14. Comply with all laws, regulations, policies, and data privacy guidelines.
  15. Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions.
  16. Perform special projects as directed by leadership.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience required.
  • 2+ years of Neurology experience preferred.
  • Scientific knowledge essential.
