Inside Sales Representative - Pittsburgh - EST

Join us as an Inside Sales Representative - Pittsburgh - EST at Onco360 Oncology Pharmacy.

About Onco360 Pharmacy: We are a unique oncology pharmacy dedicated to serving community, oncology, and hematology physicians, patients, payers, and manufacturers. This fully remote position offers commission potential and a salary range of $55k-$70k annually.

Role Summary: The primary responsibility is to develop and manage a designated territory through account management and direct outreach, providing education and care coordination to prescribers for all Onco360 products and services. This involves acting as a single point of contact, assisting prescribers in evaluating referrals, and ensuring service levels are met, often in coordination with outside sales representatives. The target customers include physicians, NPs, PAs, nursing staff, office managers, and pharmacy staff in hospital and community oncology settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with Pharmacy Operations and outside sales to meet prescriber experience and sales goals.
  • Achieve call expectations with prescribers, focusing on top targets and pipeline leads.
  • Develop relationships within oncology practices and hospitals within the assigned territory.
  • Support sales escalations and communicate with field sales partners regarding prescriber or patient issues.
  • Deliver education and key messages about products and initiatives.
  • Handle clinical inquiries by forwarding them to Staff Pharmacists.
  • Maintain detailed documentation in CRM regarding customer interactions.
  • Manage customer complaints discreetly and professionally.
  • Obtain and respect prescriber communication preferences.
  • Nurture prescriber relationships to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Utilize SPOC tools for prescription processing and assist with prior authorizations.
  • Ensure timely communication of prescription renewals to maintain continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with sales to meet sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably 2+ years' retail or specialty pharmacy technician experience.
  • 2+ years' sales experience in pharmacy or health services preferred.
  • Oncology sales experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, probing, and consultative skills.
  • Knowledge of oncology providers, drugs, and healthcare communities.
  • Understanding of drug reimbursement and managed care benefits.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented.
  • Proficient in data entry, CRM, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
