Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Selling a logistics and supply chain brokerage service including Air, Road & Ocean freight to a range of product manufacturing & distributing markets
  • Negotiate freight rates with carriers and shippers to ensure competitive pricing and profitability.
  • Identify and reach out to potential product manufacturing & distributing customers through cold calling, emails, and other sales tactics.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers to understand their logistics needs.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas by closing new business and expanding existing accounts.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure smooth booking, tracking, and delivery of shipments.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in CRM software.

Requirements

  • Ideally have sales or customer service experience within the logistics and supply chain services industry
  • Ideally has a preexisting network withing logistics and freight forwarding
  • Must be competitive, entrepreneurial individual, who is results driven.
  • Need to be proficient at both prospecting new businesses and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
