Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to F&B decision makers at golf courses (GM, managers, golf pros).
• Convert conversations into Trial Orders and close deals.
• Persistently follow up until a clear yes/no is obtained.
• Log every call, contact, and next step in the CRM.
• Hand off new accounts to ensure smooth reorders and upsell opportunities.
• Share feedback from calls to improve the pitch and sample kits.

$30-$35/hour average earnings (base + commission) | 20-40 hours/week

About GimmeBirds

GimmeBirds is a fast-growing golf snack company making golf-ball-sized protein balls built specifically for the course. We sell to golf courses, simulators, and golfers across the country, and we’re now building out our first Inside Sales team.

Here’s the motion: we send sample kits to food & beverage decision makers at golf courses in our target markets. Our Inside Sales reps follow up on those kits by phone and convert them into our super easy Trial Order. The product does a lot of the talking. Your job is to get the decision maker on the phone and close.

You’ll be one of the first people on this team. You’ll work directly with our CEO/Co-founder and our Sales Lead, and you’ll help shape how this team runs as it grows.

What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls to F&B managers, GMs, and golf pros who’ve received our sample kits
• Convert sample-kit conversations into Trial Orders
• Follow up persistently and professionally until you get a clear yes or no
• Keep every call, contact, and next step logged in our CRM
• Hand off new accounts smoothly so they turn into reorders
• Share what you’re hearing on calls so we can sharpen the pitch and the kits

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for hungry, scrappy closers who:

• Love the phone and know how to talk with people
• Are competitive and motivated by earning more when they sell more
• Can hear "not right now" without losing energy
• Are organized and disciplined with follow-ups
• Work well independently and own their own numbers
• Ideally love golf and can talk the game with course staff

Experience in inside sales, phone sales, SDR/BDR roles, golf course operations, or food & beverage is a big plus, but not required. If you’re a natural closer who loves golf, we want to hear from you.

Schedule & Pay

Pay: Minimum wage base plus commission on every Trial Order you close. Reps should expect to average $30-$35/hour all-in. This role is mostly commission-based, and top performers can earn above that range.

Hours: 20-40 hours per week, based on your availability and fit

Location: Remote, but candidates within 50 miles of Salt Lake City are strongly preferred
