Austin Bridge & Road is looking for an Outside - Inside Asphalt Sales Representativeto join our team atAustin Asphalt. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, coordinating operations, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell asphalt products and services to current and prospective customers
  • Assist with daily dispatch planning for plants, trucking, and inbound material hauls
  • Learn and utilize APEX and JWS systems
  • Input, track and manage customer sales quotes and activities with CRM tools platform
  • Conduct cost-benefit and needs analyses to tailor solutions for customers
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
  • Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and timelines
  • Collaborate with asphalt team members and other departments
  • Analyze market potential, track sales activity, and report on progress
  • Provide insights on customer needs, market trends, and competitive activity
  • Continuously improve sales strategies based on feedback and performance
  • Assist in determining pricing for quotes, promotions, and negotiations
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Conduct client visits to assess needs and promote offerings
  • Monitor market competition, including pricing, products, and delivery schedules

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn internal systems (APEX, JWS)
  • Knowledge and proficient ability to use CRM’s to track and manage customer accounts
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
  • Willingness to travel locally for client visits and site assessments

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in asphalt production or construction materials sales is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods (8+ hours/day)
  • Occasionally required to stoop, bend, walk, crouch, or climb
  • Comfortable working in both office and field environments, including exposure to construction site conditions (dust, noise, weather, etc.)
  • Valid driver’s license
